ARCIGAY INFORMATION

INFORMATION ON THE USE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

 

Dear Member, pursuant to the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code), we inform you that the processing of your data is based on the principles of fairness, lawfulness, and transparency, as well as the protection of your privacy and rights, which have always been the guiding principles of Arcigay's activities.

 

Pursuant to Article 13 of the aforementioned law, we therefore provide you with the following information:

          1. The data you provide to the association is processed for the following purposes:
            a) purposes strictly connected and instrumental to the management of the membership relationship;
            b) purposes related to legal obligations;
            c) to analyze the information obtained when you use your card to evaluate ARCIGAY's activities and offer services deemed to be of interest to members. Your data will be processed for this purpose only if you have given your specific consent for such processing.
          2. Data processing is carried out in a manner that guarantees security and confidentiality and may be carried out using paper, computer, and electronic tools designed to store, manage, and transmit the data.
          3. Providing your data is mandatory to become a member of ARCIGAY, to use its services, and to maintain the membership relationship. However, providing your telephone number and email address is optional and allows you to receive communications exclusively from the association and to receive information on association initiatives and activities.
          4. Your data is processed by ARCIGAY managers and representatives and is not disclosed.
          5. The data controller is ARCIGAY, at its national headquarters in Bologna, Via Don Minzoni, no. 18. The data processor is the national president of ARCIGAY. An updated list of any other data processors can be found at the website: www.arcigay.it
          6. Data processing takes place at the aforementioned headquarters as well as at the offices of the provincial committees of ARCIGAY and affiliated associations and is handled exclusively by persons appointed for this purpose.
          7. You may exercise your rights towards the data controller at any time, pursuant to Article 7 of the Privacy Code. Specifically, you may request to be informed of any processing of your personal data; to obtain, without delay, clear communication of such data and its source; to request the erasure, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law; to request the updating, rectification, or integration of the data; to obtain certification that the aforementioned operations have been disclosed to those to whom they were communicated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right being protected; and to object, in whole or in part, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of your personal data, even if pertinent to the purpose of its collection. You may exercise the rights set forth in Article 7 by writing to the ARCIGAY data protection officer for feedback by post at ARCIGAY, Privacy Officer, Via Don Minzoni n. 18, 40121 Bologna (BO).
